Academy U-15s and U-17s Return to DA Action

Casa Grande, Ariz – The Barça Residency Academy U.S. Soccer Development Academy U-15s and U-17s return to DA action tomorrow, Saturday, January 25 as they host Southwest Division competitors FC Golden State at Grande Sports World – Home of Barça Residency Academy.

Although in the same conference, this will be the first meeting between the two teams. Barça Residency Academy who is 3-1-1 in their last five games will look to set the tone for the second half of their season and hand FC Golden State their first conference loss.

Look for the DA U-15’s second leading goal scorer, Yahir Gonzalez Garcia of Barça Residency Academy, to utilize his goal scoring ability to help lead his team to victory. Gonzalez Garcia is averaging an impressive two goals per game through eight games on the season.

In the second match-up of the day, the DA No. 5 ranked Barça Residency Academy U-17s will look to build upon their success and extend their win-streak to seven games with a win over FC Golden State.

Expect to see a complete team effort from Chris Harmon’s U-17s who have been playing exceptional soccer.
