Barca Alum Bronnik Shines in Rookie Year, Claims USL Championship with Union Omaha

Barca Residency Academy alumnus Mark Bronnik capped an incredible rookie professional season by lifting the 2024 USL League One Championship trophy with Union Omaha. The rookie, who signed his first professional contract with the club last month, has had quite the debut season.

Bronnik, 18 years old, made 10 appearances across all competitions for the club this season. Among his highlights, he etched his name into the club’s history books as the youngest-ever goal scorer, a remarkable achievement that underscores his potential and promise. His milestone debut season not only showcased his talent but also highlighted the potential Barca Residency Academy alumni bring to the professional level.

“Can’t stop, won’t stop,” Bronnik posted in a recent social media post following the championship – and we don’t see any letup in his future as he continues to build on his successful first professional season.
