Barca Residency Academy Launches the H.E.A.R.T. Project: Embracing Core Values Through Community Service

Since its inauguration in 2017, Barca Residency Academy has been actively involved in giving back to the local community. Now, the Academy is proud to put a name to its longstanding commitment with the launch of the H.E.A.R.T. Project. This initiative formally recognizes Barca’s dedication to its core values—Humility, Effort, Ambition, Respect, and Teamwork—by organizing and expanding its charitable efforts under a unified mission.

The H.E.A.R.T. Project centers around volunteerism, encouraging Barca’s student-athletes to contribute their time and energy to local organizations. This initiative underscores the importance of Barca Residency Academy’s core values, reminding participants that true greatness is measured not only by their achievements on the field but also by their willingness to help and uplift others.

To launch the project this month, Barca Residency Academy reestablished its partnership with Seeds of Hope, a non-profit charity and a key social service provider in Casa Grande since 1993. Seeds of Hope plays a crucial role in supporting the local community by offering essential resources such as after-school care, wellness clinics, senior activities, warm meals, and clothing to those in need.

Barca’s student-athletes and staff excitingly resumed their volunteer efforts at Seeds of Hope after-school program, where they helped students (K-8) with homework, read books, played board games, engaged in crafts, and shared a meal before taking them outside for soccer lessons.

The organization’s mission is to alleviate hunger and malnutrition locally and globally, as well as to provide disaster relief. Barca’s volunteers spent time at the Gilbert location labeling cans, repackaging bulk food, and assembling food packs for distribution.

Barca Residency Academy has previously partnered and volunteered with Pinal County Animal Care and Control, CHiP (Catalysts Helping Increase Potential), I Pour Life, The Boys and Girls Club, local middle schools, and many more organizations.

The H.E.A.R.T. Project is more than just a volunteer program—it reflects Barca Residency Academy’s commitment to fostering a culture of excellence that extends beyond the soccer field. By participating in this initiative, Barca’s student-athletes and staff are not only giving back to their community but also reinforcing the values that define the Academy’s identity, nurturing compassionate, socially responsible individuals dedicated to making a positive impact.
