Casa Grande, AZ (October 29, 2021) – U.S. Soccer announced on Wednesday that Barça Residency Academy forward Moises Arciniega has been invited to the upcoming U-17 U.S. Men’s National Team training camp, that will take place from Nov. 1-8 in Chula Vista, Calif.
U-17 USMNT will return to the field for first training camp under new head coach Gonzalo Segares. This event marks the U-17 USMNT’s first traditional training camp since the team participated in a February 2020 UEFA Development Tournament in England, just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic brought the sporting world to a halt. The 2021 Concacaf U-17 Championship and 2021 FIFA U-17 World Cup were canceled due to the pandemic.
“Another massively talented player coming through the academy that is reaping the rewards of his hard work! Congrats Moises!!” said Barça Residency Academy Director Ged Quinn in a tweet.

A skillful and rare talent, the Casa Grande native Arciniega joined Barça Residency Academy in 2019 at the age of 13 where he played with the U-15 U.S. Development Academy (DA) team. The 2006 forward is still playing up, currently on Barça’s U-17 MLS Next team.
