Barca Residency Academy’s MLS Next teams secured their seventh undefeated matchday of the season on Sunday, November 3, with an impressive showing against Murrieta Surf at Grande Sports World – the Academy’s home base. Across four games, Barca’s teams tallied a total of 17 goals while allowing just three.
Barca’s U15 team set the tone for the day with a commanding 8-0 victory. Diego Ros led the attack with a brace, while Carson Starrett, Cristian Efigenio, Ezra VanCleave, and Matthew Frey each added goals. Murrieta Surf also conceded two own goals, rounding out the score.
In a simultaneous matchup, the U19s battled to a 1-1 draw, with Titus Wright scoring in the first half to secure a valuable point in a back and forth battle.
The U16s followed with a strong 4-2 win. Oliver Groves struck twice, supported by goals from Diego Ascencio and Brody Williams, ensuring a decisive victory over Murrieta.
To cap off the day, the U17s recorded a 4-0 shutout. Xavi Cisneros netted two goals, while Merlin Danzmayr and Lorenzo Tuch each contributed to the scoreline

With a seventh undefeated gameday under their belt, Barca Residency Academy will enjoy the weekend off from competition before returning to the pitch for important match ups on November 16 and 17 vs. Santa Barbara SC and LA Galaxy Academy.
