Barca Residency Academy Trio Called to U-15 USYNT for International Training Camp

Not one, not two, but three young Barça Residency Academy talents have earned call-ups to the U.S. Soccer U-15 Boys National Team for an upcoming international training camp in Larnaca, Cyprus.

Easton Odom, Ethan O’Neil, and Diego Ros were named to head coach Ross Brady’s 20-player roster for the camp, which will run from February 7–15. The trio represents the largest contingent from a single club, with Barca Residency Academy leading all programs among the 15 clubs represented on the roster.

During the camp, the USA will play two matches, facing Cyprus on February 12 (11 a.m. local time) and England on February 14 (10 a.m. local time). Both matches will be played at Sotira Municipal Stadium.

The camp is part of the Federation’s continued focus on the U.S. Way philosophy, which emphasizes increased programming for Youth National Teams to create more opportunities for young players to advance through the pathway to the senior National Team with the goal of representing their country at a world championship.

This young trio of 2011-born Barca Residency Academy players are enjoying quite the season. They travel to Cyprus fresh off a 10-day 10-day Barca Academy Training Camp in Barcelona, Spain, and have been heavily involved in recent U.S. Soccer Youth National Team programming, including January and November Talent ID Centers.

Individually, Ethan O’Neil earned a call-up to the U.S. U-15 Youth National Team training camp in October, while Easton Odom was selected for the September U-15 USYNT camp, further underscoring the depth of elite talent emerging from Barca Residency Academy.
