Barca Residency Academy standout, Bryce Jamison, has been selected as a part of the roster for the inaugural MLS Next All-Star Game, presented by Allstate. The first of its kind, this game will provide a world-class experience for the best young players in North America to showcase their talent on a national stage.
The match will feature 45 players in an East versus West format at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minn. on Wednesday, August 10 at 11:00 AM CT. One of the five non-MLS academy players selected, Jamison will represent team West in the All-Star Game.
The sixteen-year-old Atlanta, Georgia native joined Barca Residency Academy from Atlanta United Academy ahead of the 2021-22 season and has since been a member of both Barca’s U-17 and U-19 teams. Jamison was called up to the Barca Residency Academy U-19 team mid-season and played an important role in helping his squad secure their second consecutive MLS Next Playoff berth. This summer, Jamison scored Barca’s sole goal in their first-round MLS Next Playoff match vs. FC Dallas that resulted in a 1-1 draw (5-6 loss in PKs).
