Eleven Barca Residency Academy players have been selected to attend the U.S. Soccer Boys Talent ID Center on Wednesday, March 1 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Ten players will represent Barca Residency Academy in the 2008 group, the most players selected from any club in the region. Invitees: Douglas Carbajal, Dane Frisch, Abdiel Guzman, Ryan Jonas, Isaiah Kaakoush, Jorge Padilla, Christopher Runde, Dylan Thomas, Diego Zepeda, and Donovan Martinez.

Meanwhile, Porter Jones will represent Barca Residency Academy in the 2009 group.

U.S. Soccer Talent ID Centers (IDCs) are free, single-day player identification opportunities for top talents to train and play games under the direction of U.S. Soccer Talent Identification Managers. IDC’s are a critical element to the Talent Identification Plan and are designed to identify and evaluate top talents for Youth National Teams, while accelerating their development in a challenging environment. IDC’s are scheduled throughout the year in key markets across the country.

U.S. Soccer Talent ID Centers are designed to replicate Youth National Team camps and are the pathway to the Youth National Teams.

The ID Center will be conducted while adhering to the strict U.S. Soccer Return to Play protocols regarding Covid-19.
