Four Barca Residency Academy Players Invited to U.S. Soccer Talent ID Centers

The United States Soccer Federation has invited Barca Residency Academy standouts Joshua Boney, Diego Ros, Carson Starrett, and Ezra VanCleave to upcoming Talent ID Centers (IDCs) on Wednesday, March 28, in Carson, California. Diego Ros and Carson Starrett will participate in the 2011 age group, while Joshua Boney and Ezra VanCleave have been selected for the 2010 group.

Ros and Starrett are no strangers to IDCs, earning their third invitation this season. Their first came in October of last year, followed by a second in January at the IDC in Santee, California—an impressive performance that led to an official call-up to the U.S. Soccer U14 Boys National Team mini-camp last month.

Meanwhile, Boney and VanCleave have earned their second IDC invitation of the season after initially participating in the October IDC.

About Talent ID Centers

U.S. Soccer Talent ID Centers (IDCs) are free, single-day player identification opportunities for top talents to train and play games under the direction of U.S. Soccer Talent Identification Managers. IDCs are a critical element of the Talent Identification Plan and are designed to identify and evaluate top talents for Youth National Teams while accelerating their development in a challenging environment. IDCs are scheduled throughout the year in key markets across the country.

U.S. Soccer Talent ID Centers are designed to replicate Youth National Team camps and are the pathway to the Youth National Teams.
