Four Leagues, Seven Games, Another Undefeated Weekend for Barca Residency Academy

It was a thrilling weekend for Barca Residency Academy, as the teams competed in MLS Next, USL Academy, UPSL, and Elite Academy league action from Saturday through Sunday. Continuing their unbeaten streak, Barca secured five wins and two draws over the course of the weekend, with standout performances across all divisions.

Saturday: MLS Next U15 Dominates LA Bulls SC

Barca Residency Academy’s U15 MLS Next team kicked off the weekend in style with a commanding 5-0 shutout against LA Bulls SC on Saturday morning at Grande Sports World. Jordan Williams, Sean de Wet, Arman Alagha, Carson Starrett, and Melvin Ramirez contributed to the scoreline.

USL Academy and UPSL Teams Shine in Competitive Saturday Night Matches

Later that evening, Barca’s USL Academy team took on El Paso Locomotive in a pivotal Cactus Division matchup at Southwest University Park. After a highly competitive and scoreless first half, Barca broke the deadlock with second-half goals from Joshua Sosa and Brady Le, sealing a 2-0 victory on the road.

Meanwhile, in Arizona, Barca’s UPSL team battled FC Arizona to a 3-3 draw, with a goal from Jan Kubacki and a brace from Julian Blalock.

Sunday: Elite Academy Teams Wrap Up Weekend with Strong Performances

On Sunday, Barca’s Elite Academy teams rounded out the weekend with a series of games against SC del Sol. The U15 team led the charge with an emphatic 8-1 victory, while the U16 team played to a tight 1-1 draw. The U17 and U19 teams earned wins, defeating SC del Sol 3-1 and 4-1, respectively, to cap off another undefeated weekend for Barca Residency Academy.
