Three young talents from Barca Residency Academy’s U15 MLS Next team, Kash Held, Diego Ros, and Carson Starrett have been selected to attend a regional U.S. Soccer Boys Talent ID Center (IDC) taking place today, January 22, in Santee, California.
Held, Ros, and Starrett will join other top 2011-born players from Southern California and Arizona for today’s IDC. The young Barca Residency Academy trio previously impressed at a local IDC held in Arizona last October, paving the way for this exciting opportunity.

U.S. Soccer Talent ID Centers (IDCs) are free, single-day player identification opportunities for top talents to train and play games under the direction of U.S. Soccer Talent Identification Managers. IDC’s are a critical element to the Talent Identification Plan and are designed to identify and evaluate top talents for Youth National Teams, while accelerating their development in a challenging environment. IDC’s are scheduled throughout the year in key markets across the country.
U.S. Soccer Talent ID Centers are designed to replicate Youth National Team camps and are the pathway to the Youth National Teams.
