Two Barca Residency Academy talents have been called up to the U.S. Soccer Boys National Team for the upcoming Futures Domestic Training Camps taking place February 19-24 in Fayetteville, GA.
Mason Jackson (U-15) and Ezra VanCleave (U-16) were named to their respective 20-player rosters, continuing the academy’s strong representation within the national team system. The U15 group will be coached by Ross Brady, while Paul Simpson will lead the U-16 group.
The Futures Domestic Training Camp is part of U.S. Soccer’s newly announced Men’s Youth National Team Futures Program, which aims to recognize that development timelines vary among young players. The program’s main focus is to identify, support, and develop U-15 and U-16 players who mature later than their peers.
Both Jackson and VanCleave have prior experience within the USYNT system. Jackson previously earned a call-up to the U-15 National Team for the October Training Camp, while VanCleave has attended multiple U.S. Soccer Talent ID Centers this season. In October, VanCleave also traveled to Barcelona, Spain for a 10-day training stint at FC Barcelona’s La Masia–an exclusive opportunity as part of Barca Residency Academy’s partnership with FC Barcelona.
This young duo of Barca Residency Academy players are continuing to build on their strong respective campaigns this season. This selection highlights their continued progress and consistent performances, while further reinforcing Barca Residency Academy’s reputation as a leading development pathway for elite young players.
