Barca Residency Academy newcomers Mason Jackson and Ethan O’Neil have earned a call-up to the U.S. Soccer U-15 Youth National Team for a training camp taking place October 19-26 at the Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, California. Under-16 Boys National Team head coach Alex Aldaz will serve as coach for this month’s camp.
The camp is part of the Federation’s continued focus on the U.S. Way philosophy, which emphasizes increased programming for Youth National Teams to create more opportunities for young players to advance through the pathway to the senior National Team with the goal of representing their country at a world championship.
Jackson and O’Neil, who joined Barça Residency Academy ahead of the 2025–26 season, are two of only three non-MLS players called into the camp. Both Southern California natives, Jackson, forward, previously played for Strikers FC, while O’Neil, defender, hails from Rebels Soccer Club — the same club that produced Barça Residency Academy teammate Easton Odom, who recently attended the September U-15 USYNT Training Camp.
The duo’s selection continues their involvement with U.S. Soccer, as both Jackson and O’Neil participated in U-14 U.S. Boys National Team Talent ID Camps earlier this year in February and May.
