Barca Residency Academy’s Jordi Ayala has been called-up to the El Salvador U-16 Men’s National Team for the 2022 UNCAF-FIFA FORWARD Invitational Tournament that will take place in Tegucigalpa, Honduras from October 17 to 23.
The tournament will offer preparation for the National Teams that will participate in the U-17 World Cup, to be played in Guatemala next year. The competition will take place in 2 groups, with El Salvador in Group A along with Honduras, Panama, and Cuba.
Group A: Honduras, Panama, El Salvador and Cuba
Group B : Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Nicaragua
“We are running against time, but we have had the opportunity to see and evaluate the boys who are joining this week of work,” said Head Coach Juan Carlos Serrano. “The objective is to strengthen the group of players that we are going to select not only to participate in the tournament (Honduras and World Cup) but also to compete, which is why we are focused during these previous weeks on carrying out the appropriate work”
