Barca Residency Academy U-15 Academy goalkeeper Marcus Michael has been invited to the Bulgarian Talent ID Event taking place January 8-11 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This event is a part of the Bulgarian Football Union’s (BFU) official strategic partnership with Soccer Proxy, a United States-based organization, in an ongoing effort to identify, develop, and promote young football talent of Bulgarian heritage.

This partnership aims to establish a comprehensive and structured pathway for youth players to access elite training environments, gain exposure to international competition, and explore professional opportunities within top-tier leagues across Europe and beyond. In its capacity as our trusted representative in the North American region, Soccer Proxy will be responsible for the following key functions: talent identification and development, training and exchange programs, advancement to professional leagues, and cultural and educational enrichment.
The Bulgarian Football Union will provide ongoing technical guidance, access to professional football networks, and institutional support as part of this collaboration. With this recognition, Soccer Proxy is officially designated as the BFU’s strategic partner and liaison for youth development and player advancement initiatives within North America.
