Barca Residency Academy’s MLS Next teams continued their undefeated run this past weekend with commanding displays against Chula Vista FC and Nomads SC. Barca delivered their second consecutive unbeaten weekend, securing seven wins and a draw over eight matches, while scoring an astounding 53 goals and conceding just six.

Saturday: Strong Start Against Chula Vista FC

Barca opened the weekend on Saturday, September 28, with a solid showing against Chula Vista FC. The U16, U17, and U19 teams secured convincing victories, while the U15s fought to a hard-earned draw.

  • U19: Titus Wright’s brace and a goal from Joshua Sosa lifted the U19s to a confident 3-1 victory.
  • U17: A well-rounded team effort saw the U17s claim a 4-1 win, with goals from Merlin Danzmayr, Julian Blalock, Dane Frisch, and Santiago Avalos.
