Three Alumni Called-Up to U.S. National Team Duty

Barça Residency Academy alumni continue to make their mark on the international stage, with three former players earning call-ups to represent the United States at various national team events in June.

Brooklyn Raines has been named to the 22-player roster for the U.S. U-20 Men’s National Team’s international training camp in Cairo, Egypt, from June 2–10. As the team ramps up preparations for the FIFA U-20 World Cup, they will face Colombia on June 7 and Egypt on June 10 under the direction of head coach Marko Mitrovi?.

Bryce Jamison will join the U.S. U-19 Men’s Youth National Team for their first international camp of 2025, also taking place June 2–10, in Marbella, Spain. The U.S. will square off against host nation Spain on Saturday, June 7, followed by a match against Ukraine on Tuesday, June 10. Both fixtures will be held at Estadio Guillermo Amor in Benidorm, Spain.

Leonardo Orejarena has been called up to the U.S. U-18 Men’s Youth National Team for the UEFA Friendship Cup, held from May 30–June 11 in Nyon, Switzerland. The United States has been drawn into Group A and will face France on Sunday, June 1, Argentina on Wednesday, June 4, and Australia on Saturday, June 7. All matches will take place at Colovray Sports Centre. Group B features Japan, Portugal, Senegal, and Uruguay.
