Barça Residency Academy players Gerardo Ambriz, Ronaldo Guadarrama, and Samuel Mendoza were called to the  Mexican Federation U-16 Boys National Team ID Camp that was held September 26-30 in southern California.

The five-day camp was in conjunction with the Sueno Alianza de Futbol Hispano National Showcase event. Eighteen 2004-born Mexican-American players from around the U.S. were called into the camp and evaluated by Mexican National Team head scout Jorge Tello Hernandez, technical director Miguel Angel Razo, and technical assistant Ricardo Enriquez.

On camp’s final day, the squad played against the Alianza U-16 select team. Mendoza played 70+ minutes in which he provided an assist and impressed the coaching staff with his performance throughout the camp. Ambriz and Guadarrama played in the first half where Ambriz came out with a goal in their 4-1 win.  “All three players had a very successful camp and represented Barça Residency Academy in great fashion,” said Miha Kline, Barça Residency Academy Director of Recruiting.
