Casa Grande, Ariz – Today, Barça Residency Academy General Manager Tim Alai proudly announced that the Academy will be adding a U-14 Pre-Academy team to the residency academy program for the upcoming season starting August 3, 2020.
“This is another step in expanding our academy into younger age groups,” said Alai. “It is an opportunity for all talented players born in 2007 to join our residency program.”
Barca Residency Academy has partnered with Grande Innovation Academy, a top-level local middle school just 15 minutes away from the Academy, that will provide education for their 7th and 8th grade student-athletes. This will allow the opportunity for younger players to learn the valuable FC Barcelona methodology and curriculum at FC Barcelona’s Youth Residency Soccer Academy in the United States.
Barça Residency Academy’s next Tryout Camp will be held March 27-29 at Grande Sports World – Home of Barça Residency Academy, click here for more information and to register. All players born between 2002 – 2007 are now eligible to tryout.
