The Barca Residency Academy alumni trio of Caden Clark, Diego Luna, and Rokas Pukstas have been named to the U.S. U-20 Youth Men’s National Team roster for matches vs. Argentina and River Plate as the team continues preparations for this summer’s Concacaf U-20 Championship in Honduras.
Head coach Mikey Varas has called up 20 players for the training camp that will take place from March 21-30. The team will head to Buenos Aires, Argentina for matches vs. Argentina on March 26 and Argentine Primera Division club River Plate on March 29, which will serve as qualification to the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2024 Summer Olympics.
The Barca Residency Academy trio were called up to for the previous U-20 camp cycle in November for the inaugural Revelations Cup in Mexico.
The USA will face Argentina’s U-20s at the AFA National Training Center and then play a River Plate squad made up of first team players staying with the club through the international break, as well as reserve and academy players.
