Barca Residency Academy’s MLS Next teams (U15, U16, U17, U19) opened the 2023-24 MLS Next season against SC del Sol under the lights on Friday night at Grande Sports World – Home of Barca Residency Academy. Barca Residency Academy proved their dominance as they swept in-state competitor SC del Sol with four wins, 14 goals scored, and one goal allowed.
3-0 seemed to be the magic score of the night as Barca’s U15, U16, and U19 shoutout SC del Sol by that margin.
Graham Ford, Noah DaSilva, and Oliver Groves scored for the U15s. Barca Residency Academy second-year returners Xavi Cisneros, Adam Hayun, and Bora Eldem tallied goals for the U16s. Barca Residency Academy veterans Trent Lindsey, Mark Bronnik, and Yahir Gonzalez scored for the U19s. Barca’s U17s completed the sweep with a 5-1 win over SC del Sol with goals scored by Brady Le, Leo Orejarena, Bodie Ford, Anthony Perez, and Diego Zepeda.
Barca Residency Academy’s MLS Next teams will return to the pitch on Sunday, September 17 when they host Nomads SC of Southern California in their second game of the season.
