Barca Residency Academy’s Sean Petrie (2007) has been invited to FC Barcelona’s La Masia for a two-week training stint from April 17 to April 28. This opportunity is a part of the academy’s unique partnership with the club which provides exclusive trial and training opportunities for its top prospects.
Petrie is now the fifth Barca Residency Academy player since November to be provide this opportunity. Following Joseph Buckley (Orange County SC), Leo Orejarena, Dylan Thomas, and Isaiah Kaakoush who have previously been invited.
“Fully deserved for Sean who has been excellent since he joined us two years ago,” said Barca Residency Academy Director Ged Quinn. “Excited for him to showcase himself at the top level!”
