Barca Residency Academy’s U15 Elite Academy team finished second in the EA Southwest Desert Conference and earned a spot in the 2023 Elite Academy Nation Championships that will take place June 8-11 in Dallas, Texas. Barca’s youngest EA squad finished with an impressive 9W-2L-1D conference record, scoring 40 goals and only allowing 10.
Barca’s U15 EA team’s season also included a first-overall finish at the Elite Academy Winter National Showcase in December. They went a perfect 3-0 and dominated the competition as they poured in 23 goals while only allowing one. Head Coach Carl Francazio and his young group will take part in local friendlies to prepare for the academy’s first Elite Academy National Championships appearance.
